Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast, with notes of paper and touches of malt. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweetish estery notes and malty touches. Paperlike and estery aftertaste with notes of malt. Well-balanced and clean, quite okay for the style but nothing really illuminating.

Bottle, 5.1% Good citric aroma, nicely dusty. Clear golden colour. Fairly stable white head. The flavour is nicely malty and quite papery. Hint of a delicate floral and citric hop in the finish.

€-Flascherl (Greetings to Garching!):Pale golden, stable and lacy white head, sweetish-bitter hayish nose, grainy background; mild - as expected - sweetish-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, not overly soft; shorter grainy and mildly bitter finish.Nothing wrong with it, just a bit boring...

Helder lichtgeel bier met schuim. Smaak is licht bitterzoet met iets van gras en houttonen. Een van de beter Helles die ik tot nog toe gehad heb.

bottle from local Rewe. Straw yellow, mid-sized white head. Malty start with some boiled vegetables, sweetish woody touch, shy hops. No glory.

Bottle picked up from an Edeka supermarket at Munich Airport, Germany consumed at our log cabin in Dachau, Bavaria, Germany Sunday 13th January 2019. Pours gold, great clarity with a large white frothy head, yet another beer that looks great. Clean tasting if rather safe and a little unexciting, but to my tastebuds it's ok and as someone (possibly unlike the other raters of this) who doesn't tend to drink many of this style I am perhaps going to be less critical. Yes it's a little sweet, lacks bitterness and could do with a bit more character but it's ok. A6 A5 T6 P3 Ov12 3.2

Bottled 500ml. -from Getränke Degenhart, Grafenau. Clear pale golden coloured, medium sized airy white head, grainy nose. Sweetish malty, grainy, light herbal and touch of honey with rather dry bitterish finish. Ordinary and boring.
