Thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Malty aroma. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Fine spicy notes, wheaty, mild sweetness. Finish well balanced. Grasy-spicy aftertaste. Not bad.

Bananiger, herb spritziger Antrunk.

Big thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Starts quite malty, wheaty, more and more spicy. Dry background. Well balanced finish, malty-spicy aftertaste. Quite drinkable. Good!

Good white head; fully hazy yellow beer. Dusty, spicy nose, all sorts of kernels and seeds, other grains, and clove. Sweet, perfumey (rather than exotic fruit and honey...), sweet malts, rosewater and toilet water. Quite slick, gristslickness, medium bodied. Not my taste, despite the for German standards spectacular bottle.

750ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orangey, deep golden colour with average to huge, thick, frothy, fairly lasting and lacing, white head. Sweet-ish malty aroma, a touch of bread, hints of yellow gooseberry and honey, cautiously herbal hoppy overtones with a touch of woodruff and mint. Taste is moderately sweet malty, some honey, hints of yellow gooseberry, hoppy overtones with a touch of mint and woodruff (Polaris, I guess). Fine designed, twinkle-toed, nevertheless a bit boring overall.

Bottle: Cloudy, amber coloured, small creamy off-white head; sweet fruity-wheaty nose, very faint traces of caramel barely detectable; sweetish flavour - only with a slight acidity, pretty light bodied, fortunately quite soft; short sweetish-wheat finish. O.K.…

Lahev (750ml)(Diky, Quack/Ducku!):Deep goldenunclear, loose ’n stable white head; quite well hidden alcohol, herbal to flowery hops, bisquity to honeyish malts in the aroma; quite solid sweet-bitter flavout, medium bodied, unfortunately a bit fizzy; moderate to solid sweet and bitter-hoppy finish. Bouteille( Courtesy of Quack-Duck!): Golden, hazy, mid-sized and pretty stable mid-sized white head; pretty clovey-yeasty nose with a wheaty touch; mild to moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, thin and tart and fizzy; short watery sweet wheaty and sourish finish. Anyone’s favourite? Not mine…

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks really, really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice small head. Yeasty aroma. Starts strong, modest yeasty, fine malty and spicy. Lihgt alcoholic background. Fruity hints of banana. Finish quite dry-yeasty. Not bad!
