About

On tap at Flamèl, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has light herbaceous notes, light grass, and straw. Flavour is much the same, with herbaceous notes and straw. Clean but forgettable.

Deep gold from the bottle. Grainy aroma with hints of pepper and caramel. Bitter in a raw and grainy manner. Finishes much the same, a touch peppery perhaps, but also a bit rough. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Drinkable.

Bottle online from Raynville Superstore. Pours clear golden with a large thick throthy white head. Aromas of grains, hay, white bread and honey. Taste is malty with sweet grains, hay, doughy white bread, more honey and a little bit of peppery spice and some grassy hop linger on the finish. Medium body, average carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Although not very wintery it’s still a decent Marzen style lager.
