Golden blonde topped with an off white head.
Nose is mellow fruits, straw toasted grains, herb.
Taste comprises fruit slice, breads, faint citric, straw, grass.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a light bitter rasp.
Not bad.

Pigs Ear 2025. Gravity. Simple golde. Mild bitter straw, biscuity pale malts, nip of lemon. Easygoing and very drinkable.

Cask at Ebenezers, Nantwich. Pours golden yellow with a small frothy off-white head. Not much of an aroma – just hints of malts and stale biscuits. In the mouth it is quite sweet but with also a little bitterness and a creamy texture. Flavour has malts, mixed hops and hints of spices and pine. Finish is slightly sweet. This is reasonable – but somewhat bland.

On tap at the Three Hounds Beer Cafe & Bottle Shop. Aromas of raspberry jam, blueberry, blackberry, plum jam. Jammy sweet taste of all of the above. Dry, sweet & lightly tart.

Tap at Three Hounds Beer Bar, Beckenham 28/11/2025 Tart berry fruity, berry compote, blueberry flesh, prominent raspberry jammy fruit, medium body and light acidity, tart berry close.

Cask at the Harp, London 26/11/2025 New UK brewery ✅ toasted and sweet malty, with some dried fruit shred, caramel and fudge like malty sweetness, rye and light nutty accents, nice soft cask mouthfeel, malty finish. Good stuff.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 25th November 2025. Rated as a novelty ale . Deep ruby black with light brown foam and spot lacing. Chocolate and toffee aroma. Coffee, toffee and dark chocolate in-mouth with herbal spices. Smooth mouthfeel and plenty of body.

Cask at Tap & Can, Shrewsbury. Pours almost black with minimal scummy tan head and some lacing. There’s malts and chocolate in the aroma. In the mouth it is sweet and creamy with malts, coffee, grapes, lactose and alcoholic strength. Some hints of strawberries and cherries later on as well. Sweetness lasts into the finish. This is decent.

Deep dark brown with a frothy tan head and a sweet coffee cream aroma. Has coffee bitterness with roasted malt, sweet fruity notes and a dry bitter finish.
