Fruchtig, hefiger Geruch. Minimale Sektnote, Getreide, leicht strohig. etwas Toast und Waffeln. Im Schlussteil ein Anflug von bitterer Zitronenschale. Eher leicht und süffig. Interessant ist, dass das Etikett auch die verwendeten Hopfensorten, Stammwürze, Bittereinheiten und Farbstärke angegeben wird. Die meisten Brauereien schweigen sich darüber aus.

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus, Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm. Had this at home cooking a Pasta Pesto with Steve Lamaq on 6 Music had this Wednesday 4th January 2023. Pours light chestnut with a huge frothy cappuccino coloured head. Quite nutty with a heavy dose of caramel, nice soft carbonation, a little on the sweet side but it's a good Dunkel nonetheless.

A bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus, Pffafenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Saturday 27th August 2022 listening to Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show, we had a great tea, Junjaro (Kidney Bean Curry) from Made in India by Meera Sodha. It pours yellow in colour with a nice white head, the taste is light banana, soft citrus and nice softness in the mouth, pleasant wheatiness throughout, another very pleasant Weissbier.

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus, Pffafenhofen an der Ilm and consumed at home Sunday 7th August 2022 sat outside listening to the new album by Jessie Buckley and Bernard Butler - For All Our Days That Tear The Heart and cooking a big Chilli Con Carne in the wood oven. Pours mid gold with a white head, clear as a bell, looks good. It states brewed with aroma hops Perle, Select and Saphir but interestingly they are not quite as aromatic as hoped. Could also do with a little more pronounced bitterness, states 30IBU and I guess it is, however it's a little bit flabby and lacking distinct qualities. Fine but not as good my local Pils from Au.

500mp screw cap bottle from Beer Moth. It pours ever so slightly hazy golden - blonde with a decent, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh bready vibes, cereal, nuttiness, biscuit, earthy and leafy vibes. The taste is firmly dry, pleasing bitterness, grassy, leafy, crackery malt, nuttiness, spicy, cereal and bread with a lightly spiced, nutty finish. Average body and moderate, fizzy carbonation. Works well. Interesting and quenching.

500ml bottle, online from Hereford Beer House. Pours clear yellow with a white cap. Aroma: biscuit malts, bread dough. Taste: light sweet & light to moderate bitter, grains, biscuit, straw, light grassy. Light to medium body with foamy carbonation.

Bottle, 500 ml shared with Max and Miro. Cloudy golden with medium white head. Malty, bit hoppy, grassy, some sweetness in the middle with bitterish finish. Medium bodied.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the Hereford Beer House. Pours crystal clear yellow with a fluffy, pure white head. Lightly effervescent. Lightly sweet with pleasant crispy pale grains, a little doughy biscuit, nips of grass, a slight metallic note, straw. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation and pillowy texture. Nicely balanced finish, more clean pale biscuits, a little bitter straw and grass. This one grew on me. Nice stuff.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the Hereford Beer House. Pours cloudy copper-gold with a creamy, off-white head. Lightly sweet with fairly fresh, bready malts, a little biscuit, toasted grain, a hint of toffee, low bitterness. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Further rounded bready malts to finish. Enjoyable beverage.

Not 100% this is the right beer. My screw cap bottle has a label “Landbier Helles” at 5.2. Dunno. Can’t be bothered to search any further. Clear gold. Super sticky white foam. Nose has cereal. Bright grassy hop leaf. A very light nutty character to it. Taste is a little sweet with a nicely firm, grassy herb bitterness. Super easy drinking with foamy and fine carbonation. Moderate bitterness to finish. Nice one.
