On tap at the brewpub, this was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a ruddy amber color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head. No lacing.
The aroma takes in caramel and toffee malts up front covered by some citrusy and grassy hops. Nice balance.
The flavor balances decently between the malts to hops. Smooth dry sweet to bitter toffee/nutty aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body. Decent sessionability. Low carb.
Overall, good amber for the most part. Might have again if I was in the area.

Several pours from a six-pack. Gold color. It has an odd, unique flavor that I can’t describe. I’m not sure I like it but I don’t dislike it. It’s not the beer, it’s me!

Can: Lavender, ginger, sandalwood nose. Hazy amber, medium yellow head. Ginger. Lavender finish. Light body, moderate carbonation. Despite my aversion to lavender, this was somewhat enjoyable and well executed.

12 ounce can into pint glass; no can dating, but is a recent release. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, pineapple, peach, grapefruit, passion fruit, mango, lemon/orange peel, light pine, light honey, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, pineapple, peach, grapefruit, passion fruit, mango, lemon/orange peel, pine, light honey, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/herbal/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, pineapple, peach, grapefruit, passion fruit, mango, lemon/orange peel, pine, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp/sticky/grainy, and lightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is a great American pale ale. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Can shared, bought at Rishi’s because of the name. Slight hazy light golden with fizzy white head. Canned peach, dry malts, some mineral, light grassy, lemon, 7up, light bready. Light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with soda-like carbonation.

Draft pour from a growler to my tulip-snifter. Great, fresh juicy citrus aroma. Perfect copper-orange color with an almost white head. The initial taste suggested it may be a hoppy and bitter bomb, but that was just the beer saying "hello" to my palate. Well-balanced from start to finish. Surprisingly smooth for an IIPA with the hops and bitterness it offered--not to mention the high ABV. I’ll need another growler, please.

Aromas of big tangerine, pineapple, orange juice, mango, peach, papaya, lemon zest, orange peel, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and compelxity of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale malt sweetness; with great strength. Taste of huge tangerine, pineapple, orange juice, mango, peach, papaya, lemon zest, orange peel, honey, light caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate citrus peel/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, pineapple, orange juice, mango, peach, papaya, lemon/orange peel, honey, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale malt sweetness; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light dryness from bitterness, that increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an outstanding DIPA! All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale malt sweetness; very smooth and easy to drink for the big ABV. A highly enjoyable offering.

Can. Pours a fairly clear orange with a thin head and very tropical aromas. Lots of papaya and orange. Flavor has a punch of oranges and honey that is followed up by a resinous end... Mouthfeel is kind of silky/kind of sticky and thick for the style. Very yummy.

On tap at Blackrocks. Pink pour with no head and aromas of very light raspberry (although they become stronger as it warms...) Flavor is raspberry with some malty flavors and a kind of off finish... I’m at a bit of a loss to describe it... kind of like bandaid, but not as foul... Kind of a saison-y funk.

On tap at Blackjacks. Light gold pour with a thin head and aromas of light malt... honey/dough. Flavor is more interesting, but still pretty mild, even for a session IPA. It has a light citrus finish to it, but there are not a lot of hops... or at least not enough for this hophead.
