Hazy yellow colour with thin soapy head. Lots of fresh tangerine in aroma and flavour. Quite bitter, lots of citrus peel. Really easy to drink and refreshing.

Bottle on the 1659 Bruxelles-London Eurostar, 11/02/24. Golden orangw with a just off white Nose is sweet malts, passionfruit, mango puree, light sugars. Taste comprises sweet malts, mango, passionfruit, sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay refresher is somewhat 1D and not much to discuss.

Bottle shared on the Eurostar back from Brussels for Rich's 50th weekend. A mostly clear deep orange coloured pour with a fine off white head. Aroma is decent mango passion fruit, five alive vibes, but farty. Artificial fruit juice. Flavour is composed of semi sweet five alive, passion fruit. Mango. Nutty malts, palate us semi sweet rounded, light tang, moderate carbonation. Ok, bit fake.

Bottle on the 1659 Bruxelles-London Eurostar, 11/02/24. Almost clear golden blonde with an off wite cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is grass, skunks tones, hedgerow, sharp citric peel. Taste comprises lemon rind, herb, citric tinged straw, grass, toasted grains, stale bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with leafy hop bitterness. So so affair ... comes over tired and disinterested.

Bottle shared on the eurostar back from Brussels from carrefour. A clear pale yellow straw coloured pour with a lasting white froth. Aroma is skunky, grassy, flaky grains,, cut grass, lager notes,, pissy. Flavour is composed of soft wheat, pils, spicy hop, skunky lager notes, some vague floral notes. Palate is soft delicate fine carbonation. Light grains.. Meh.

Bottle at gist, thanks to Shane. Ar dark brown black coloured pour with a beige head. Aroma is chared pine, brown sugars, maple, sticky pine, toasted malts. Tarmac.. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, charred wood, piney sap, toasted malts, woody roast, resin. Palate is semi sweet, oily, light tang, moderate carbonation.

Dark yellow and slightly hazy with no head and just a fine sparkle. Aroma and taste are quite woody. Sharp too. Madeira is difficult to specify. Very good lambic though.

Dark yellow colour with light haze and thin head. Aroma is grainy and woody. Taste starts quite balanced like a classic Boon but the citrus level is elevated. Not super woody or dry. Very pleasant and refreshing.
