Deep brown to black body. Creamy lightly brown head. Aroma of molasses, chocolate, coffee with some grapes, wine, alcohol. Moderately bitter, moderately sweet flavour with smokey notes. Nicely balanced.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a hazy gold with a huge soapy head that lasts throughout. Nice saison-like nose with citrus, lemon zest, white grapefruit, grass and pear aromas. Nice carbonation with a slightly sweet and tart flavor on the palate. Light dry finish that is very refreshing. Very flavorful and light Belgian IPA. Cloudy, yellowy color, small to medium white head. Aroma is banana, cloves, spices, bit of bread, slight sugar. Taste is medium sweet banana bread and cloves, spices, some peppery notes, maybe a touch of sugar, only slight citric acidity, dry finish. Medium bodied and carbonation. Very nice.

Dark brown to black colored, medium to strong tan creamy head, nice lacing. Aroma is of some chocolate and roasted malt with strong citrus, pine and floral hops. Taste is medium sweet brown sugar, chocolate, roasted malt, resiny citrus and floral hops, medium aroma and bitterness, some Belgian yesty notes. Dry roasted and citrusy finish. Medium bodied and carbonation, resin.

Bottle from Tanakaya. Pours a murky brown with some orange highlights and big beige head. Coffee, cacao and roasted malt on the nose along with some yeast aromas. Some nice bitterness on the palate with the yeast flavor coming on strong and the malt adding some roasted sweetness. Very Belgian, but doesn’t seem exactly like a black IPA. Still enjoyable though. Dry and bitter finish.

09/10/2015 @home - 33cl bottle from Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte. Copper changing to orange colour with nice rocky foam. Aroma : exotic fruits, hops. Taste : exotic fruits, pine, citrus, bitter, some malts. Gave me a bit the feeling of a Black IPA, dry bitter ending.

33cl bottle from trade with Douberd, many thanks! Pours hazy dark orange brown colour with a huge good lasting beige head. Aroma of tropical fruits, very hoppy, some coffee. Taste is very hoppy, citrus, peach, caramel, some chocolate and coffee, nice!

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, deep golden colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Herbal spicy, floral, grassy hoppy aroma, hints of mirabelle, fresh mowed hay. Taste is dry, bitter herbal hoppy, minimally tart, hints of brine, a peppery touch, fruity undertones, hints of unripe peach. Very Belgian IPA; indeed not really distinguishable from a "gentrified", hoppy "PoMo" Saison.
