Since 1985, we've been a pioneer in the craft brewing scene by producing timeless, traditional style ales as well as experimenting with new recipes as part of our Welly One-Off Series.
As an independent and locally owned brewery, we take pride in being an active member of the community, taking part in countless events and supporting charitable causes. We strongly believe that beer is best when it’s fresh and made in our community. On tap at The Ship. Pours clear blonde with a white head. Biscuit malts and oaky Chardonnay on the nose. Flavour is quite soft with buttery oak and a slightly fruity Chardonnay character, pale malts underneath; hops are definitely in the background. Aging a pilsner seems odd, but it turned out okay.

This pale ale poured a hazy, deep orange colour with a creamy, off white head. Nice lacing. Scents include caramel, hay, cooked veggies and tea. First swig was not as hoppy as expected. Flavours of tea, citrus, hay and honey. Finish is medium hoppy bitter with tea flavours lingering.
