Very Champenoise pearling to high snow-white head over pale lemonjuice-coloured beer. Lemon, coriander, pale malts. Dry-malty, faintly spice if not necessarily coriander. Well-carbonated, quite slick, spices as beefing. Light, but quite good! Txs to Eugene!

Cloudy golden. A little herbal and sweetish nose. Yeasty too. Clean lactic and some pickles. Quite a bit of rezidual sugars. Not as sour and good as last bottle. 6-3-6-3-11=2.9.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Hazy orange, fast-diminishing head. No acid in the nose - just some lemon and mint flavoured lollipop. The taste, on the other hand, is sharp lactic acid (with some pickled dirty notes), plus light lemony and herbals notes. 6-4-6-3-13=3,2

BOTTLE 33 CL from Pravda. Hazy pink-ruby, pink fast disappearing head. Subtle cherry aroma, a bit of funk and cherry pit. The taste has ever so light cherry note and is more like a Belgian blonde than a fruit beer - mostly dry, subtle fruitiness and quite bitter. The bitterness is a tad harsh - must be the alcohol or the general lack of flavour. Decent, but somewhat weird.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Opaque black, creamy beige head. Smells like chocolate and sourish grass. A touch of poo. Taste: sweetish chocolate, light roast, moderate bitter finish. Noticeable CO2 acidity, even though the carbonation is not that prickly. A decent stout.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Hazy ruby red, beige creamy head. Aroma: caramel burnt sugar, grapefruit pulp. Also, quite subdued citrus hops and hints of toasted malts. The taste starts with a juicy sweetness of caramel and ripe grapefruit, followed by a robust pithy bitterness. Very nice.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Hazy yellow-golden, snow white creamy head. Fruity and spicy aroma with notes of fresh apricot, citrus and flowers, as well as dusty spicy herbs. Some fermentation tartness. The taste is similar - fruity sweetness, solidi spicy herbal bitter finish. A bit of yeast and metal, but nothing offensive. Quite a nice Belgian style bitter blonde ale.

SAMPLE at a tasting. Hazy mahogany, beige head. Toasty dark malts, dusty hops, chocolate and fruity liqueur, tasty alcohol. Does not have the richness and body of very good quad, but still a good one.
