BOTTLE 75 CL at Pravda, Lviv. Peppery and grassy, a little apple and Cider in the nose. Dry alcoholic and slightly fruity taste, dome vegi roots maybe? dry yet solid pale honeyish malts and good phenolic alco-spice. Not earth shattering and probably not a saison, but a pretty solid Belgian strong golden.

TAP at Pravda, Lviv. Grainy and bready, sweet dark bread. Dry mouthfeel with a spicy hoppy finish. A little yeasty. Good.

Sampled draft @ Pravda brewpub in Lviv. Dark red brown with a tanned head. Nose is weird lightly sour dough, rye bread, overripe fruit, compote, weird low sour dough, some ginger. Taste is low sour dough, leaves, dark fruit compote, low ginger, weird leaves, bread, sugar. Malty & rye bread with low sour note body. Weird and rather messy but not entirely bad. // 330 ml. bottle split by 2. Bottled 17.05.2016. Pours dark brown, reddish, little head. Nose is more ginger than the draft version, ginger is a bit weird and vegetable, leaves, touch watery rye bread. Taste is more ginger than the draft one, vegetable ginger, little sourness, dough, rye bread, leaves, faint kvass. Rye bread & fizzy. Liked the draft one a bit more, weird & messy beers with some fine point, partially agreeable for me.

(Kiev 2016) 330 ml. bottle @ Wooly Hops. First & only gusher in Ukraine, only a small one. Bottled 03.02.16. Lightly hazy golden, big white head. Nose is fresh USA hops, kiwi, litchi, some grass & low yeast. Taste is vague bitterness, some yeast, very fizzy, bitter green grass, overly carbonated, big messy, lightly dry. Overall a nicely dry beer with nice strongly bitter hop, first really hop bitter beer in Ukraine for me, low medicinal bitterness, shame that it is over-carbonated which ruins a bit. Still one of the finer Ukrainian beers that I tried, nice surprise.

(Kiev 2016) Bottled 08.03.2016. 330 ml. bottle at Wooly Hop. Hazy citrus, little white head. Nose is weird fish guts, chemical, ditch water, chemical Hefeweizen. Body is way, way too carbonated, running the taste, getting also heavy DE fish guts, chemical insecticide, sparkling chemical, low fizzy wheat. Carbonation is way too much, not crazy about this chemical DE fish guts profile.

(Kiev 2016) 330 ml. bottle sampled at Wooly Hops. Love that name. Blackish with little tanned head. Nose is weird herbal chicory, vegetable, vegetable vanilla. Taste is low vegetable, herbal roast, thin chicory, roasted malts, herbal, tad ashes. Body is chicory roast, tad dry, not the best porter but it passes partially. Bottled 02.03.16.
