Description
Richard Hübsch founds on the site of a former stocking factory a brewery. He started with 6 people to brew top-fermented beer. After the war the brewery was nationalized. In 1990 it became a private brewery.

Getreidig-blecherner Antrunk, wässrig. Aromen kommen kaum zur Geltung. Wenig hellmalzig, die Getreidigkeit bleibt bis zum Schluss. Entäuschend laff. 7/5/6/5/8/5

Bottle: Pale golden coloured, big fluffy head, slowly collapsing; distinctive grainy-dusty and grassy nose; light to moderate bitter flavour, light bodied; lightly grassy-bitter finish with traces of pale malt. A rather mediocre Pils, the "noblesse" (noble = edel) is hardly detectable............

Bottle: Reddish-amber coloured, huge firm off-white head, slowly collapsing; fruity, a bit roastmalty nose with a touch of caramel and an unknown amount of hops in the background; moderate sweetish and (malty-) bitter flavour; medium bodied, soft MF; delicate sweet-malty anfd fruity finish with a light, a bit drier bitterness in the aftertaste. A pleasant, chewy, malt-accented brew....

Bottle, big thanks to Pivnizub! Fruity malt and roast nose with a aromatic hop counter. Chestnut colouring, golden brown creamy head. Burned sugar, roasted malt, caramel, light inherrent fruityness, aromatic hops - low on bitterness. Medium body with a mellow mouthfeel. Light almond and coffee aftertaste.

(33cl bottle, from pivnizub) Slightly hazy, pale golden with a short frothy white head. Dusty, light-sweet malty, slightly worty nose. Slightly sweet malty, worty and yeasty taste with a herbal bitterness towards the finish. Likeable Zwickel-Pils.

(bottle) Hazy, yellow colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Sweetish yeasty and malty aroma with strong herbal notes and a light barnyard smell. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium body, smooth carbonation. Yeasty and malty taste, slightly worty; medium-dry, slim and yeasty, light-bitter finish.

(bottle, with a Danke Schön @ pivnizub) Clear, pale golden colour with a big and quite stable foamy white head. Medium-sweet strawy grainy aroma with a touch of honey and shy traces of hops. Very light-bitter flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Soft malty, slightly grainy taste; dry malty and light bitter, shy herbal hoppy finish. Clean, but boring.

Initially light-sweet malty, slightly grainy taste with notes of citrus; light to medium body with a crisp carbonation; dry, light bitter grassy hoppy finish. Clean and refreshing Pilsener.
