Bottle. Clear, straw pour with a small, white head. Canned pears, fruityness, grains and a hint of vomit in the rather weak aroma. The flavor was grainy and grassy, added a little fruityness and bitterness. Thin body. Grassy hops and some bitterness in the finish. Boooring! (080229)

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Very dark, very fine foam. Tastes not as malty as other bockbeers, but also strong. The finish a little bit "earthy" - very interesting. Really good bock!

Bottle. A clear, reddish brown beer with a beige head. Malty caramel aroma with a roasted touch. Caramel and roasted malt in the flavor, very low on bitterness, and quite one-dimentional. Medium body and a finish with roasted malt and caramel. Decent, but weak for a schwarzbier. (080215)

Bottle. A clear, pale golden beer with a white head. Fruity and grainy nose, more of a pale lager than a kellerbier. The same goes for the flavor, but there’s more flavor than aroma. Still it’s grainy and fruity, with some pale malt, and there’s not too much of it. Thin body. Rather boring beer from Eastern Germany. (080215)

The bottle looks really "edel", the beer in the glass looks fine. Very zippy. Tastes not dry but spicy, not too strong. Really drinkable and good beer!

500 ml bottle. Very pale body with a thin and disappearing white head. Aroma is slightly fruit sourish. Flavor is light, refreshing and quite plain. I might not really understand this beer. Quite high ratings, but you could have fooled me anytime introducing this as a regular German lager/pilsner. I’m not impressed.

Bottle. Hazy green golden, lowish head. Metallic bitterhop nose. Straw maltyness, quite chewy, fat fruity notes hinishing on a herbal, light metallic hop note. Full, sparkly mouthfeel. Aromatic retronasal.

Bottle, 4.9%. VERY pale yellow colour, almost clear. OK stable chalk white head. Old, rough hop aroma. The flavour has a little malt with a hint of soapy hops. Citric finish. Quite weak and uninteresting.
