On tap at Beervana. Pours black. Toast, chocolate, wood, peach, grapefruit, pine. On the black IPA end of the stout spectrum, and a very good example of it.

Taster at GABS Auckland 2017. Pours red caramel colour. Loads of caramel, biscuit, some toast, something a bit cherry. Fine.

Taster(s) at GABS Auckland 2017. Pours dark hazy brown. Pomegranate, fig, honey, orange peel, biscuit, sherry, ginger, cherry. Big body. An absolute triumph.

Taster at GABS Auckland 2017. Pours black. Salt, umami, chocolate, toast, seawater. Lovely blend of stout and seafood. Good stuff.

On tap at the tap room. Peach, lemon, biscuit, caramel. Fairly standard APA, but quite well done.

On tap at the tap room. Pours cloudy yellow. Banana, spice, bread. Little orange and pine in the flavour. Lots of wheat beer characteristics along with the saison spice, with the hops providing something a bit extra. Tasty.

On tap at the tap room. Pours cloudy and fizzy. Lemon, yuzu, melon, peach. Nice strong tartness, good carbonation and lots of sweet fruitiness. Really good.

500ml bottle. Pours brown with little head. Lemon, spice, biscuit etc. It’s a pretty standard saison.

500ml bottle. Pours green yellow colour and clear. Sweet grass, funky hay and plenty of peachy fruitiness. Really very good.
