330ml bottle into pint glass (as Emerson's 1812 Pale Ale). Clear bronze beer, creamy white head, a myriad of tiny bubbles. Patchy lacing. Nose is earthy hops, pepper and citric fruit. Zingy and fresh with a bitter hop kick then a long lingering citric finish. There's some toffee in the background too. Excellent pale ale. Complex and moreish.
