500ml bottle at home on Christmas Eve 2025. Poured into my Batemans pint sleeve glass, it's light golden, clean and clear; on top a white crown. Slight citrus leaning with a piney finish, no great bitterness or hop bite, but decent enough.

New UK brewery ✅ toasted sweet malty with some nice spicy hoppy undertones, some pine needles, biscuity caramel malts, soft cask mouthfeel and nice body, bitter piney hoppy and malty lingering finish. Nice first impression.

[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] An amber pour with a thin white head; citrusy aroma; light lemony citrus taste with a bready body; and a creamy finish with more lemon. Pleasant but unexciting.

Cask at the Cornfield Exchange, Eastbourne. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a thin, broken white head. The aroma is yeasty, light toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, smooth, yeasty, light toffee, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at Moon Under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours golden yellow with a medium sized off-white head and good lacing. The aroma has biscuits with a hint of citrus. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy with flavours of malts, biscuits and citrus. Some bitterness comes later, together with hints of corn, and lasts into the finish. This is reasonable but not very memorable !

Clear and golden with a frothy white head and a soft fruity nose with a background of biscuits. Light to medium bodied, fruity up front, some tartness before a biscuit taste cuts in, finishes dry and very slightly bitter.
