Taster at the brewery. Pours black, with a small, biege head. The nose is hard espresso, smooth toffee, walnut, sherry, and nutmeg. Sweet and sugary, with a slick, easy bitterness. Light to medium body, watery, and syrupy. A bit weak, but fun.

Crowler from the brewery. Pours a clear, golden color, with a small, fleeting, white head. The nose is wet grass, caraway, butterscotch, pine sap, rubber bands, and rye. Sweet and creamy, with a sticky, resinous bitterness. Medium body, slick, and sticky. Weak, chemical, and not terribly pleasant.
