Taster at the brewery. Pours black, with a small, biege head. The nose is hard espresso, smooth toffee, walnut, sherry, and nutmeg. Sweet and sugary, with a slick, easy bitterness. Light to medium body, watery, and syrupy. A bit weak, but fun.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a clear, amber color, with a big, foamy, beige head. The aroma is wet grass, cloves, mild juniper, caramel, and caraway. Sweet and malty, with a mellow, piney bitterness. Medium body, grainy, and astringent. Fair and a bit harsh.

Draft at the brewery. Dark brown, nearly black, with a small, beige head. The nose is heavy pumpernickel, toffee, walnut, coconut, and rye. Sweet and malty, with a sticky, musty bitterness. Heavy body, syrupy, and kinda thick. Fun and interesting.

Crowler from the brewery. Pours a clear, golden color, with a small, fleeting, white head. The nose is wet grass, caraway, butterscotch, pine sap, rubber bands, and rye. Sweet and creamy, with a sticky, resinous bitterness. Medium body, slick, and sticky. Weak, chemical, and not terribly pleasant.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear, amber color, with a medium, foamy, off-white head. The aroma is caramel, biscuit, orange peel, and cardamom. Sweet and malty, with a mellow, musty bitterness. Light to medium body, smooth, and crisp. Fun and surprisingly complex.
