Can split at L6 at the Tipple's had tasting, thanks to Tipple, 17/04/19. Clear golden orange with a decent off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is bitter orange, ripe citric flesh, grass, sweet malt base. Taste comprises orange pith, caramel, sugars, grassy, light pine dusting. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with leafy hop bitterness. Average old skool leaning kind of a DIPA.

Super clear and lightly golden and perhaps a touch peachy coloured body, with a very thin, single centimetre tall, pure white head that fades very fast and leaves no movement in the glass. Aroma of super citrusey and lemony hops and cleanser with a dash of light sweetness, but more lemon juice, perhaps a touch of grapefruit juice and a super light malt balance with a bit of alcohol noticeable. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and very citrusey flavours dominate with a lot of cleanser-like notes showing a high astringency and depth from the grain, but the alcohol and bitterness are also quite strong throughout. Aftertaste shows some complexity, in terms of astringency, alcohol, citrus and some light hop notes that do show a little perfume and especially a lot of citrus. Overall, a softer APA that shows a lot of citrus and cleanser/herbal components in the nose and up front, but finishes relatively straight-forward and sort-of easy-drinking. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Total Wine in Springfield, Virginia on 20-October-2019 for US$2,99 sampled at home in Washington on 10-January-2020.

12 oz. can. Pours a hazy light gold color with a white head and very good retention. Decent lacing. Sharp pilsner aroma. The flavor matches the nose. Sharp pilsner flavor with a soft hoppy finish. Good example of the style without being extreme. Well done.

12 oz can poured, sent over by Jow. Thanks! Ripe orange fruit, tropical character, melon, slight sweet edge. Bright golden orange appearance. A double IPA on the sharp side, fruitiness doesnt quite bury the bitterness. Interesting and tasty.

12 ounce can thanks to hershiser2! Slightly hazy amber, large foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of lemon and dank with toffeeish malts. Taste is candied citrus, lemon, lemon oil, mandarins, pale malt. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness, a bit sweet. Good beer but not quite a Brut.

12 ounce can thanks to hershiser2! Clear amber, large white head, good retention. Aroma of resin, melon, onion, pale malt. I really wish people would stop using Mosaic. Taste is melon, dank, thyme, dandelion, tropical fruit, melon rind, pale malt. Medium bodied, juicy, mild bitterness.

Can. Pours a clear gold with a thin head. Aromas of light citrus and a little honey. Flavor is pretty boring IPA... a touch of citrus and a nice bitter backbone over a decent body. Finish is pretty citrusy, but kind of washed out. Decent enough, but not much different from most other run-of-the-mill IPAs.

Lacking pretty much any identifiable IPA trait other than bitterness. Caramel malt is prominent, but the hops offer little in the way of citrus or tropical notes, instead only providing resinous pine on the finish. Reminds me of afterthought IPAs you’d find in early-oughts themed brewpubs. Pass.

Can. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a thin head and aromas of oranges, grain, and a little grassy hops. First sip reveals a kind of chewy IPA with some resin and oranges. Not a particularly clean flavor but decent enough. Has a bit of grainy and dusty edge to the malt that feels a bit sloppy.
