Description
DEYA Brewing Company is an independent brewery in Cheltenham, UK. We focus on hoppy beers, lagers, traditional UK styles and mixed fermentation ales. We strive to make world class beer.
Theo founded DEYA in 2015 having become obsessed with American beer and beer culture. In January 2016, Theo picked up the keys to a 4,000ft2 industrial unit in Cheltenham. Once the 10bbl brewery kit was installed, the burgeoning DEYA team dedicated themselves to producing the most delicious pale ales, IPAs and hoppy beers that they could. In 2017, following more national and international acclaim, brewing capacity is doubled with the addition of three 40HL fermentation vessels. In March 2018, a 1000 cans per hour canning line was purchased to complement the four new 40HL fermentation vessels that were to be added in October. This move takes capacity to 3,500HL. In 2019 year we are expanding into a new 25,000 sq/ft premises and installing a bespoke 40hl 4 vessel brewhouse allowing us to significantly increase capacity.
We take a holistic approach to business, striving to be the best employer we possibly can be, while operating in a fair, sustainable and human driven way.

Can picked up from Beyond Beer webshop Hamburg and consumed at home Thursday 13th August 2026. We're about to cook homemade burgers with homemade chips, just listened to Huw Stephens on 6Music with Round Table, it was good. Loz said this pours like clay in a glass 🤣, it's a murky, dirty yellow actually maybe like a cheap lemon curd with a huge white head. Soft mouthfeel, the hop combination works quite well, however it's a bit on the sweet side. There is a tropical edge and whilst I get the lime and Brazilian lemonade description it isn't like a ramped up for radler, it's growing on me and it's decent but not totally blown away. Score:7.0

500ml can. Clear pale gold with a white head. Aroma of citrus, pale malts, tropical fruit. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, pale malts, biscuity, pine, resinous hop bitterness but it's definitely on the lower side for the style. Medium bodied.
A really solid westie that just wants some more bitterness.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Milky golden body with a thick off-white head. No visible carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of peach and watermelon. Flavour of mango and nectarine. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A delicious IPA. Deya have released some excellent beers lately.

500ml can. Murky yellow with a creamy white head, great retention and lacing. Aroma of peaches and cream. Taste is sweet, peaches and cream, a touch of lime zest, strawberries, almost no bitterness. Full bodied, creamy smooth.
One of the best hops in this series, it is however sweeter than others which lets it down just a little bit.

Can from Mall Tavern. Took it back to the hotel room, as we had to get back for the kids' bedtime. Clear pale golden color, small to average sized white head. Aroma is malts, nicely hoppy, softly fruity. Flavor is similar, with a moderate malty base, then softly fruity hoppiness and a decent hop bitter finish. I like this one. Very hoppy for a lager. Pretty awesome.
