Vom Faß: Golden, cloudy, , medium-sized and slowly collapsing white head, sweetish grainy ans worty nose with mineralic and honeyish traces, mild grassy bitterness underneath; sweetish-bitter flavour, residual sugars detectable in light body, both a bit sticky and fizzy; slightly lingering bitter and worty finish. Sigh! Always the same with DBB: the stronger beers are the better beers…

0.75 l bottle from 'Bergmann Stehbierhalle', best before November 2020. Slightly hazy, deep reddish amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly malty, gently fruity aroma of caramel, nuts and red fruits. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly fruity taste of caramel, red fruits, a touch nuts and traces of grains, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a bit nutty finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Pleasant Red Lager, not too deep but quite smooth, well-executed.

Trocken herber Beginn. Minimal hopfig, wenig würzig, mild bitter. Mittellanger Abgang. Okay, nur das "Keller" im Namen verstehe ich nicht, in meiner Flasche lässt sich beim besten Willen keine Trübung feststellen. 8/8/8/8/8/8

Tap(@Stehbierhalle): Pale golden, hazy to cloudy, medium-sized stable and lacy white head, moderate dryish piney aroma with fruity ( pineapple) spots; dry bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and tart; lingering dry fruity-hoppy finish with shy balancing malty traces. Sigh! The stronger DBB Bier ist far better…

Getreidig herber, weich hopfiger Beginn. Milde Süße, minimal bitter, fein würzig. Wenig ansteigender Hopfen, die Bitterkeit verschwindet fast vollständig. Herb würzig, langer, frisch cremig hopfig-herber Abgang. 11/10/11/11//11

Süß hellmalziger Beginn, gerade noch ausgewogen. Minimale Herbe, harmonisch, dennoch unsüffig. Süß würziger Mittelteil, die Süffigkeit verbessert sich. Herb süßer, zunehmend trockener Abgang. Nett. 10/9/10/10//10

0,75l swing-top bottle, kindly delivered by pivnzub! Murky golden with a mid-sized, creamy and very stable white head. Lovely fruity nose with peach. Full-bodied, imcredibly smooth, lovely malty base and good fruity hops, slightly resiny. Well balanced and dangerously drinkable. Superb stuff.

0.75 l bottle from 'Bergmann Stehbierhalle Drive-In', best before April 2021. Hazy, luscious orange with a large, foamy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, rather yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity aroma of lots of clove, banana, some honey and traces of pear. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, fairly yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity taste of massive clove, banana, a touch of honey and hints of pear, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, very yeasty-spicy finish. Medium to full body, smooth but fairly effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Heavy, intense Weizenbock, extremely yeasty and thick. Good!

0.75 l bottle from 'Bergmann Stehbierhalle Drive-In', best before August 2020. Hazy, golden with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, rather fruity-grassy and just a little resiny aroma of lemon peel, pineapple and a touch of passion fruit. Minimally sweet, gently bitter, quite fruity-grassy taste of grains, lemon peel and pineapple, followed by a short, gently bitter, quite dry, grassy and minimally resiny finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent brew, quite refreshing but rather unspectacular, wouldn't call it an IPA either.
