Bottle 33 cl. Pours golden with a slight haze and a white, lacing head with good retention. Spicy, zesty nose - is that a bit of citrus down there? Medium body, fruity, spicy - almost gingery - tart even but mostly just bitter. Extremely bitter. An interesting and complex beer, but the massive bitterness is a bit of a ledown to me. 221121

Licht troebel geel bier met mooie stevige schuimkraag. Smaak is vrijzoet en ietwat kruidig met iets van vanille en iets van appel. Al met al wel een heel goede tripel.

Bottle. It's a lightly hazy, vigorously sparkling golden-colored beer with lots of Belgo-floaties amd a big, dense, white head. Rocky curtains. Heck, the amount of floaties could almost make even Abbaye des Rocs envy. The aroma has a light alcohol touch, but it's dominantely fruity. Bready, biscuity pale malts, notes of hay and grass, some pine cones and peppery hops and a pleasant spiced yeastyness. Some faint flowery and citrusy notes too. It's full-bodied and quite effervescent on the palate, lightly warming and semi-dry, with a decent bitterness. Some white sugar sweetness, a dash of fruity sweetness, and also fruity flavors of citrus zest, banana and some pear, along with spiced yeastyness, peppery, piney hops, some grass and a touch of very light toffee. Lasting mostly fruity finish, with a good yeasty touch and some bready malts. This one doesn't stand out like the 8 and 10, but it's a fine Triple for sure. 211026

Bouteille: Golden, cloudy with floaties, medium-sized creamy white head, moderate to solid bitter-sweet fruity-orangey aroma with a moderate herbal-hoppy background; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, almost full bodied, not overly soft; lingering and a bit drier herbal-hoppy and fruity finish. Hoppy, but not overly convincing...

Light brownish color, and white with brown touch in head. Medium head, good retention. Honey, caramel, yeasty. Bit too light, obviously after 8 or 10. Hint of alcohol. Light to medium body and carbonation. Nice finish.
