A very dark brown beer with a beige and velvet-like head. Aroma is sweet and temptating, raisins, fruits and some spices and bananas.Taster is not so sweet than can be expected based on the aroma and it turns to quite dry aftertaste. Also spices, dry hops, fruits, raisins and richness with pepperness. Rochefort 10 is a wonderfully complex and strong beer that gives you joyful surprises for every mouthfull. Edit 07.09.2026, bottle, exp. 04.10.2026, almost "expired". Aroma has got vanilla and marzipan. Taste has great intensisity, but it's so smooth. Brilliantly aged.

Appearance is golden, with a big thick head. Lots of bubbles. Aroma- spices, zesty orange, yeasty malt, classic tripel aroma. Taste is fluffy malt, orange, spicy notes, hint of caramel, Belgian yeast, dry spritzy hoppiness. Smooth and fluffy mouthfeel.

Born 8 May? Brown with a giant beige head. Aroma of Christmas fruitcake and booze. Taste is rich sweet malty burnt caramel on black bread toast. Classic

It is a regular trappist beer, I personnaly prefer the Achel blonde. The taste is malty, dry, touch of plum, the final is watery, ok, 25.12.16, at Prélaz, enjoying the Christmas time.

(Bottle) Hazy pale amber colour with firm, tan head. Malty, fruity nose with bread, caramel, orange peel, apricots, banana and spices. Malty, fruity, spicy taste with notes of apricots, caramel, bread, banana, honey, orange peel, hints of chocolate and a mild herbal/spicy bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Not just booze and candy sugar (like many less complex triples). Might have mellowed over the years. Rich and tasty, great balance. Very nice.
