The change in the U.S. beer scene has undoubtedly been revolutionary. We are proud of what we have accomplished in our short time to become a leader and innovator in the industry. The evolving tastes of beer drinkers has demanded bigger flavors, more variety, and better beer. That’s exactly what we give you at Revolution Brewing. Between our brewery and our brewpub, we produce dozens of different beer styles every year. IPAs, porters, pilsners, Belgian-style ales, pale ales, barrel-aged beers — the list goes on!
Our brewery has been a labor of love. You can see it in everything we do, from the beautiful details of our mahogany bar at the brewpub, to the massive beauty of our eight 800 barrel fermenters at the brewery, to the commitment to quality in each beer that we put in a can or a keg. Revolution believes in the value of hard work. We work hard to provide great, accessible brews for everyday people. We have fun doing what we do and hope you have fun drinking our beers!

22 oz. bomber, $10 at Square One, Chicago’s near South.Poured into a tall flute, it shows off a light amber or slightly orange body with thing layer of foam atop. Has a big malty smell with warming spices that I’m picking up at arm’s length while still wrestling with the menu. Taste is big malts with the expected esters of a warm ferment, The hop bitterness just slightly curls the edge of my tongue, and a note of fruit and funk thread through as well. There’s a yeasty outline in the taste too, even before I swirl in the yeast dregs form the bottom of the bottle.

Enjoyed on tap at Sheffield’s in Chicago, IL after seeing Will Johnson play @ Schubas. This stuff was exceptionally good. Appearance creamy and pitch black. Aroma of lactose, chocolate, a bit of nuts, coffee, pretty appealing. Taste was fantastic. I didn’t take notes while having this, just remembered this being great.

Purchased at Evolution Liquors in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home on a Tuesday night after work. I also had this on tap at Schubas while waiting for a very late friend. Appearance is a slightly cloudy gold with a rich white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is pretty nice, packs the typical IPA punch with notes that are somewhere between citrus, grassy, and floral. Taste also goes down very nicely with a good bitterness. Nothing particularly outstanding about this, just a really really good IPA.
