Our brewery has been a labor of love. You can see it in everything we do, from the beautiful details of our mahogany bar at the brewpub, to the massive beauty of our eight 800 barrel fermenters at the brewery, to the commitment to quality in each beer that we put in a can or a keg. Can at CBJ Tasting. Opaque dark amber. Thin foamy white head. Aroma had sour edged dsrk fruit and booze. Flavourwise it's similar with a boozy burn. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Dece.
2nd July 2026 Bottleshare at CBJ. Thanks to Cloin. Near opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, a little dark chocolate. Chocolate syrup. Rich ripe fruits. Spicy bourbon. Spicy bourbon fruits. Smooth finish. Pretty tasty.
2nd July 2026 Bottleshare at CBJ. Thanks to Cloin. A mild haze on this amber beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, a modest dryness, decent fine carbonation. Soft caramel malts, nice rye tang. Lovely bourbon barrel, spicy ripe fruity goodness, oaky vanilla. Spicy finish. Pretty fucken tasty. .
Thanks fonefan! Deep copper colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet fruits, caramel, mild stone fruit, some alcohol and a wee bit soy sauceish tones. Flavour is sweet malts, fudge, dried fruits, stone fruits, mild raisins and some figs. Smooth.
Thanks fonefan! Black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is toffee, chocolate, some syrupy tones with mild vanilla as well. Flavour is quite similar to the aroma, but also has a slight alcohol burn to it.
12 oz. can, pours a deep dark mahogany-tinged brown with a medium beige head. Aroma is full of rich, deep caramel malt, well-situated bourbon barrels, and a touch of red fruit. Flavour is complex and refined, with a wonderfully deep caramel malt base that is accentuated by deep, vanilla-y bourbon barrels. The barrels have a touch of smokiness, pleasant booziness, and a little butterscotch. Damn good base malts and barrel treatment. Excellent.
Thanks fonefan! Coppery brown colour with a mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is toffee, some mild alcohol, spiciness, lovely sweet malts to it. Flavour is toffee, some spiciness, sweet malts, alcohol and nicely fudgey tones. Lovely balance to this one, though alcohol is quite evident. Yumyum!
