About
Illinois' largest independent craft brewery. Brewed in the heart of Chicago.

The change in the U.S. beer scene has undoubtedly been revolutionary. We are proud of what we have accomplished in our short time to become a leader and innovator in the industry. The evolving tastes of beer drinkers has demanded bigger flavors, more variety, and better beer. That’s exactly what we give you at Revolution Brewing. Between our brewery and our brewpub, we produce dozens of different beer styles every year. IPAs, porters, pilsners, Belgian-style ales, pale ales, barrel-aged beers — the list goes on!

Our brewery has been a labor of love. You can see it in everything we do, from the beautiful details of our mahogany bar at the brewpub, to the massive beauty of our eight 800 barrel fermenters at the brewery, to the commitment to quality in each beer that we put in a can or a keg. Revolution believes in the value of hard work. We work hard to provide great, accessible brews for everyday people. We have fun doing what we do and hope you have fun drinking our beers!

Super dark, fine medium head, super coffee and lightly-Choco (malt?) nose, wow big coffeeness. Flavor is infinitely smooth and long, excellent lightly-molasses earthy bitterness at the end. "Only" mid complexity but so easy to drink. Excellent!

Smooth, malty and caramely with some rye notes, toffee, hints of prunes, figs, raisins, syrup, woody oakiness, barrel, earthiness and hints of vanilla. Nicely balanced and complex slow sipper, has mellowed compared to previous vintages fresh

Can. Near clear reddish amber beer, small bubbly tan head that doesn't last. Light palate, a mild dryness, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth malt base, a light creamy sweetness with a pleasing toffee caramel depth. Bourbon barrelling brings a richness but refreshingly not overly dominant. The strawberry works incredibly well. Strawberry jam richness but not sweetness, a little strawberry tang. Airy smooth finish. Yeah, that'll do! Lovely balance of malts, barrelling and fruit! Could drink a lot of this.

From Beer Drop, filled April 22nd 2026.

Pours a lightly hazed pale gold, plenty of foam that is long lasting with excellent lacing.

Smell is hoppy, spicy, coriander and clove, pretty intense.

Taste is also intense. Yeasty with esters, clove, coriander, hop bitterness, feeling a bit boozy.

Medium bodied, good Saison here but no need to drink this again.
