Keg at the Brewery in Pilzen Day 3 of Fergus and Sarah’s Czech jaunt. 1/10/14. Opaque black coloured pour with a lasting mid tan head. Aroma is nice earthy charcoal, charred wood, hedgerow and treacle. Flavour is composed of creamy, stale coffee, earthy bark, and some berry / raspberry. Palate is creamy with a fairly full body, moderate carbonation. Interesting well made beer. Nice and rustic.

Flavour is composed of toffee and toasted malts, raisin, some jam. Palate is crisp with moderate carbonation, medium body. Decent but a bit dull.

Aroma is light diacetyl, grainy bread cereals, hop matter. Flavour is composed of semi-sweet grainys, yeasty, sweaty hop matter, little spicy. Palate is semi-sweet, moderate carbonation, hint of citrus. Pretty dull.

Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting. Golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of mild coffee, some sourish hints. Fruity and slightly sour flavour, followed by cappucino notes and decent hops. Weird, but drinkable.

På rbhd-samling feb-15: lett uklar gylden med kort skum. Capuccinoduft, men smaken er mer syrlige karameller. Besk avslutning, merkelige greier som jeg ikke hadde greid en halvliter av.

Shared 500 ml swingtop bottle at local tasting. Deep golden colour, moderate to low white head. Strong aroma of butterscotch and cream caramels, hints of honey. Fairly sour and fruity flavour, hardly a Vienna this one. Kind of refreshing though.

Shared bottle at RB/HD 07.02.15. Clear golden. Small and diminishing off-white head. Malty and meaty aroma, also with butterscotch. Similar, but slightly sour taste.

På rbhd-samling feb-15, og den tredje fra dette bryggeriet: Kobberfarge med tett hvitt skum. Honningaroma med fløtekaramell, som går igjen i den lett syrlige smaken. Lett og behagelig ettersmak som minner om rømme. Nr. to til å rate denne!
