Bottle thanks to Matt. Pours a dark brown with beige head. The aroma is roasted malt, dark chocolate, raisin. Medium mouthfeel with rich malt, dark chocolate, nuts, and lingering dry roast.

Draft at proletariat. Pours yellow orange with puffy head. Nose is faint bubblegum and yeast. Tastes of bubblegum, honey, yeast, light citrus, and touch flowery. Medium bodied and sticky on back of throat.

The Sampler, Brooklyn 650ml: Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is honey, and plenty of it; Belgian yeast, ample amounts of course; and plenty of fruitiness. Taste is really honey forward, but it blends well with the well enough with the tripel backbone. Good, but not the best I’ve seen from Grimm.

Drought at Spuiyten Duyvil. Hazy golden yellow with small foamy whitishj head, honey aroma, high carbonation, slightly sour and sweet taste, abrupt finish with honey aftertaste. Interesting and tasty brew.

Bottle shared in NYC - thanks to Sander. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy white head. The nose has bready malts, some leafy hops. Medium sweet flavor, some further bread, some ripening citrus. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sugary finish, more bread, light Belgian yeast, some berries, lingering leafy hops. So so.
