Bottle. Pours black with brown head that dissipated very slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma is quite hot with a good amount of bourbon, sweet grains and some chocolate with a bit of backing syrup. Flavor startrs with roasted malts and bitter chocolate with a growing syrup note and a strong backing bourbon note.

Nip bottle. Pours black with a brown head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma is a bit hot with alcohol as well as roasted malts, dark chocolate and a nice maple note that bites the bitterness a bit. Flavor begins with roasted malts and chocolate and is joined by a nice maple note that balanced the beer nicely.

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber brown with a near white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma is a bit thin with a sweet grain and fruit note as well as a hint of caramel. Flavor is thin as well with sweet grains some fruit and a bit of caramel and maple in the finish. The lack of maple really let me down.

Bottle I shared at Ryan and Paul’s 5000th celebration. Poured a near clear gold with an orange hue and a white head that dissipated slowly to the edges. Aroma was full of pine, slightly dank, with a hint of grapefruit and tropical fruits and a bit of a grain backbone. Flavor had more grapefruit and tropical fruits as well as a strong pine note. Really nicely balanced.

Excellent IPA. The beer pours golden with a nice white head. Aroma is grapefruit, pineapple, pine and marijuana. It’s a much more nuanced hop aroma than expected from a single hop Chinook beer. Taste is medium bitter and mildly dry. Some light caramel malt presence, but it’s really about the hops. A very pleasant surprise.

Bottle shared by Kyle, thanks! Poured a cloudy orange with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had a beautiful dank pine note with a bit of marijuana and sweet grains underlying. Flavor had the same dank pine note with some grass, weed and a nice grain backbone.

22oz bottle pours a hazy, burnt orange with a creamy, white head. Nose is wet malts, German yeast, lightly herbal. It smells like a brewhouse. Flavor is sweet, malty, fall fruits, wet grains. Medium bodied, sweet finish.

750ml bottle pours a watery, translucent brown with a clumpy white head. Nose is all IPA, C-hops, grapefruit, earthy, lemon. Flavor is sweet, hoppy, oranges, lemons, malty, pine. Medium bodied, bitter finish.
