Dark brown. Aroma is floral hops dense melasses herbal hops toffee light dried fruit. Taste is sweet melasses forward malty body with a huge bitter herbal hops bite. Incredibly hoppy and herbal for such a dark (and traditional) beer. Full bodied and long melasses and hoppy finish. That's a flavour bomb!

Thousand thanks to kappldav123. Fruity mild beginning. Fruity, deep. Slightly grainy with lots of fruit. Caramel, grain, fruity finish. Deep with a bitter fruity finish.

Als Der Rote. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Alas something wrong here. Medicine aroma and flavor. BB Jan 22 so that was not the reason. if I get a chance I will rerate, but this was very bad.

ABV: 5.1%. [ Trade by Beerhunter111 ]. Clear medium yellow amber colour with a average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, caramel, malty, sweet malt - dried fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel, sweet malt - dried fruit, hay - straw, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. 50cl bottle. A clear amber beer with a small white head. Aroma of caramelized and nutty malt, red malt. Taste of caramelized reddish malt, nuts, spicy hops. Good!
