Description

The Brewery was founded in 1367. The brewery has been family-owned since 1879. The owners still maintain the old brewing tradition and the warm hospitality of the Carmelite monastery. The lively mix of yesterday and today, old and new, is increasingly being demanded and valued beyond the borders of our homeland. Carefully selected raw materials, old recipes and the best possible maturation times are the basis for the excellent taste and digestibility of our beer specialties. A high level of craftsmanship and the use of the latest technology guarantee the consistently high quality.

500ml Bottle - Hazy golden/light amber with a foamy head. Bread, spice, apple and banana in the aroma. Bubblegum, apple, pear, banana and some slightly medicinal and grainy notes. A disappointment.

Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

Clear medium amber colour, good frothy beige head, mostly diminishing. Aroma light roasted malts, caramel, raisins. Taste light heavy sweet and light bitter, malty, caramel, bready. Short sweetbitter malty finish, medium body, oily to watery texture, decent.

"Karmeliten Festbier", Flasche von Edeka, Landau. - Goldgelb, schwach trüb. - In der Nase breiteres, mild süßes helles Malz und hintergründige kräuterige Hopfenherbe. - Antrunk satt hellmalzig mit feiner Malzsüße, leichtem Karamelmalz, zart süßsauren Zügen und Anklängen an Waldhonig. Milde aber nicht zu knappe kräuterig-hopfenwürzige Herbe. Milder rezent, vollmundig, glatt. Im Abgang grundiert von milder kräuteriger Hopfenherbe mit etwas Orangenschale. - Schönes, rundes Festbier; das für meinen Geschmack noch eine Spur fülliger sein dürfte.
