Cloudy amber colour with creamy head. Aroma of orange bitters. Smooth mouthfeel, lacking a bit of sweetness, with strong bittering character, a bit herbal and earthy, with dirty finish, orange peel.
It could have been done better.

Hazy blond colour with creamy head. Yes, dill, some fish comes to mind, the underlying beer is still evident; smooth, but with herbal and vegetable bitterness in the finish. Minty.
Delivers what it promises, but it's not a good mix.

Draught at the brewery
Murky blond colour. Strong aroma of orange. The mild juniper provides a bit of balance to the orange flacour, it's smooth, lightly sweet, with some peel bitterness in the finish.
Here the beer is undetectable, it's drinkable but quite useless.

Hazy and full dark amber colour. Interesting aroma, biscuit, grapes, very old mead, oxidized. Good body strength, moderately sweet, with strong oxidation, it reminds me of some old bottle of German mead, the alcohol is evident too, the grapes are sour and a bit acetic.
I appreciate the idea more than the result.

Has big sweet chocolate on the nose, and a great brown body with beige head on top. Flavour is boozy sweet molasses. Mouthfeel is full though a bit candyish. This is an okay big and sweet stout.

Smells of good balanced cinnamon and coconut, soft barley on the back end. Has a nice beige head with good muddy brown body. Flavour is really good sharp cinnamon tempered by coconut and stout barley, it's all working well together. Mouthfeel is dry and sharp in all the right places. This is firing on most cylinders.

The aroma is a lot of dill. I like dill so that's good, maybe not if you don't like dill. Has a nice white foam on top of a muddy yellow-brown body. Flavour is soft dill with lemon, actually quite balanced. Mouthfeel is full and juicy at all the right times. This is an odd combination but it works.

Has a smell of nice soft fruit skins with vague malt in the background. Has a brown semi-clear body with pinkish hue. Flavour is muddy fruit with brown sugar hints. Mouthfeel is full and dry enough. This has some okay things but not many.

Smells of good sweet barley, slightly boozy. Has a good creamy beige head with a dark semi-muddy brown body. Flavour is soft barley with some sweetness, grows on you after awhile. Mouthfeel is incredibly smooth. This is a great dark ale, Storm can make it good when they want to.

On tap at Storm, pours a hazy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma is intense, with lots of red wine barrels, with red berries. Flavour is along the same lines, with red wine barrels, red berries, and alcohol. The red wine really comes through nicely. Very good.
