On tap at Parallel 49, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of dill upfront, with lots of citrus, and subdued hops. Flavour is a dill bomb, with gentle citrus hops underneath. If you like dill, then okay; but I don't, so this isn't pleasant.

On tap at Storm, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with passionfruit, with little else to speak of. Flavour is bursting with fresh passionfruit with maybe a hint of grassiness. Wonderful fruit character. Very good.

On tap at Storm, Smells of huge cardamom and sweet hops along with plenty of ginger. Has a murky dark yellow body with no head. Flavour is lots of ginger and nothing else. It's a bit watery, some hoppy oiliness on the back end. This is mediocre for storm, but still okay.

Draught at Darby's Kitsilano, Vancouver
Murky dark red-amber colour. Aroma of cherries in liquor, whiff of acetic acid. Nice cherry/plum flavour, not too acidic, but with some acetic acid and yeast.
Messy.

On tap. Pours black with short tan head. As advertised, but really a cardamon bomb with vanilla and creamy roasted malt providing only a small counterpoise

Vanilla and cardamom. Deep jet brown with a rich light brown head. Cardamom heavy with some sweetness and a long finish.

@ Alibi. Purplish-brown colour with some haze, and a thin head. Big plum aroma. Mildly tart up front, but also sweetish with a lot of plum, before finishing with the classic Storm acetic note.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma is odd vanilla, maybe some barley in there and weird hops; kind of interesting but strange. Has an okay off-white foam and darker brown body. Flavour is a mix of heavy hops and barley, some IPA notes but not really working well. Mouthfeel is full enough but not crisp. This one is a bit of a miss, seems off and unbalanced. Still drinkable though.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma is sweet barley with heavy molasses. Has little foam on a darker brown black body. Flavour is harsh wood sweetness with vague whisky notes drowning out the stout. Full enough on the mouth. This is unbalanced, a lot of things going on here that could be worked together much better than they are.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma is wonderful sour grape funk and lambic hints. Has a great bright white pink head and a muddy red body. Flavour is heavy juicy grape funk with wood notes, a little murky though and the flavours could be more pronounced. Mouthfeel is full enough. This is an interesting mix, a nice local attempt at a fruit lambic.
