Cloudy blond color. Fruity Lager, with strong bitterness, a bit yeasty and sour.
It’s probably the first poured glass of the day, and either the beer is off or Storm has to tell Vij’s how to clean the lines.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, as Storm James’ Insane 12 Year Old Lambic
Dark amber color, almost hazy; creamy head. Sour aroma, some acetone, glue, malt, earthy, aggressive. But nothing compared to the aggressiveness of the flavor, sharply acidic, full of acetone, too chemical. Sharp but short final, a bit astringent. Nice try, not bad, but excessive to me.

Cloudy blond color, very much British Golden Ale like. The hop aroma is lightly fruity, and very lightly earthy. Quite good, lean, malt and toffee flavor; reasonably good hopping, quite aromatic; bold bitterness; clean finish.
Well drinkable, but after all the poor beers I had in Vancouver, even this one becomes interesting...

Hazy golden color, with the obvious creamy head. The aroma is quite creamy and buttery, light cookies. The low carbonation allows for a smooth mouthfeel; nevertheless the flavor doesn’t go much beyond some light toffee; bland hopping. Uninteresting.

On tap many times, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, licorice, chocolate and oatmeal - some sweetness. Flavour of light licorice, roasted malt, chocolate, and a perfect touch of sweetness. Full-bodied and well-rounded. This is one of best local beers for sure.

I think this was the beer I had. Poured by Dr. Bill at the Stone Sourfest, passed off as just "Storm Lambic. Pours with a Hazy honey color. Aroma of light funk, light berry, tart and some honey. Taste is pretty tart with brett and tons of funk and a bit of fruit. Light bubbles.

Hazy dull gold colour. Just smells like apple juice. Hmmm....tastes like apple juice, fermented out a bit with baker’s yeast. Yeah, didn’t work for me.

They did this as a winter seasonal way, way back when. Maybe a dozen years ago? My notes at the time: Scoring much for inventiveness, this sweet, minty alcoholic root beer probably fares better as beer than soda. So it was more interesting than effective. This new round certainly wasn’t effective but I didn’t find it all that interesting either. Hazy dull light orangey-brown colour. Big vanilla, liquorice nose with...what is that? Cocoa? Very vanilla on the palate, with light wintergreen and some sarsaparilla. Malts are a shade thin.
