Deep golden to orange with just a rim for head. Very malty, but also oxydized like old bread, cookies and overyear grain. Alcohol, sweet bread in the taste, with freshly baked dough - and oxydation notes. Quite burning MF, slick, grist slickness. A sweet Bock I like, but I do not feel very comfy with the aggressive MF.

Sheer gold; little or no head. Fresh malt, concentrated hints at German hops. Sweet, but once more, with fresh, aromatic hops lining. No bitterness. Bit of nutmeg flavour. Light, but refreshing. Sweet-ish aftertaste. Quite good Pilsener.

(bottle) Slightly hazy and cloudy amber colour with yeast floaties and a short, slightly off-white head. Rich dark and toast-malty aroma, moderately sweet with notes of caramel and honey. Sweetbitter flavour, full body, well-carbonated, smooth mouthfeel. Strong malty initial taste with notes of caramel and liquorice, becoming more and more hoppier towards the finish, which is medium dry, bitter and quite herbal hoppy with a long lasting malty aftertaste. Excellent brew. Many thanks to joss for sending me the bottled version.

(bottle, traded with joss – many thanks !) Clear deep golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Very aromatic floral hops aroma with notes of citrus and a balanced and moderately sweet maltiness, slightly toasted. Bitter and slightly sweet flavour, medium body, smooth carbonated mouthfeel. Very round and balanced hoppy and malty taste, and indeed more Bohemian than German. Lasting medium dry and bitter finish with floral and herbal hops. Surely one of the best Pilseners I´ve had so far.

Draught at brew-pub served in 1 L ceramic mug. 0.5 L only available before 16.00!!!!!! This is the greatest stuff that goes around. Wonderfull apperance though it is difficult to rate the colour. One of the most powerfull aromas I have ever experienced. Fantastic licorice flavor. Long lasting finish, and very oily aswell. It helps also that the locals are very nice and friendly aswell. Go to the brew-pub every ratebeerians.

On draught at the brewery: Lasting white foam; pronounced mild, floral-hoppy aroma; initial hoppy taste, followed by a soft maltiness; drying out in a smooth finish with a tinge of aromatic bitterness; very soft and smooth; extremely well quaffable and moreish.....The best german-made Bohemian Pilsener and the best stuff You can get in Munich and around..........
