About
We started brewing in 2011, in a small barn in the Cheshire countryside, with a simple goal of presenting our locality with delicious beer.

A lot has changed since then; we now brew an ever evolving variety of progressive cask beer alongside modern, vibrant beers in can & keg, we now ship our beer further afield, even to different countries, but our loyal audience in the North West keeps us busier than ever and as such we've grown our brewing capacity over time from 100 thousand to 2 million pints per year.

But more than a decade on we are still an independent brewer-owned brewery, passionately crafting beers from our inspiring & beautiful location. Driven by the same energy we have always had, to bring you an ever changing array of bold, vibrant & delicious beer.

Hand-pulled half-pint on 25th August 2022: Boot Micropub, Wellington Shropshire. Pale golden body, almost clear; smooth white topping. Tropical fruit nose and taste (like so many at the moment), no one fruit stood out for me, it's not overly sweet nor bone dry or bitter, all in between.

Cask @ The Bailey Head after a hot evening ride at Candy Woods. Pours dark, with sparse off-white bubbles atop. Roasty nose, some chocolate. Light palate with soft milky chocolate and roast coming through, didn't detect too much coffee, mild pecan. Ok.

Handpull cask at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Dark brown and mostly opaque with a thick khaki head. Nutty and malty aroma with a little bit of smoke. Not getting chocolate and pecan specifically but some nice sweet smells. Taste is sweet with a berry-like hoppiness providing some sour/bitter notes toward the finish. Body thicker than most with a low ABV, soft carbonation. Okay.

Cask @ Pie & Ale, Manchester. Near black with a light brown bubbly head. It has milky chocolate roasted malts in both aroma and taste, but perhaps a little more stated in the former as a tad bushy-floral in the latter.

Lovely looking deep, dark brown, near black, with a creamy tan head and a creamy, slightly nutty milk chocolate aroma. Dry and bitter roasted malt flavour with just hints of sweetness

Cask at Monty's. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light biscuit and floral hops. Taste is more of the same. Clean finish, if a bit thin.

From tap at Bhurtpore Inn in Aston, England, 19.06.22, while on canal boat with my parents. Served using a sparkler. Clear golden. Dense and persistent white head and lacing. Fine aroma and smooth taste of pale malt, marmalade, succade and pine shoots. Refreshing and very quaffable.

Can from Seven Brothers Beer House, Salford. Hazy slightly paler golden with a frothy head. Citrus based ale but quite hoppy too and the latter is better represented in its taste, although not so in its nose where acitric tropical fruitiness is strong.
