Description
We started brewing in 2011, in a small barn in the Cheshire countryside, with a simple goal of presenting our locality with delicious beer.

A lot has changed since then; we now brew an ever evolving variety of progressive cask beer alongside modern, vibrant beers in can & keg, we now ship our beer further afield, even to different countries, but our loyal audience in the North West keeps us busier than ever and as such we've grown our brewing capacity over time from 100 thousand to 2 million pints per year.

But more than a decade on we are still an independent brewer-owned brewery, passionately crafting beers from our inspiring & beautiful location. Driven by the same energy we have always had, to bring you an ever changing array of bold, vibrant & delicious beer.

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours golden amber with a medium sized frothy off-white head and good lacing. Not much of an aroma – just some malty hints. In the mouth it is slightly sweet and smooth with a little juiciness. Flavour is mainly malts with some hints of floral hops and traces of citrus and tangerine coming through later. Overall is the bland and pretty much tasteless !

Keg at the Waterloo Tap, 18/09/24. Light golden yellow topped with a white head. Nose is big on lemons, herb, straw, pale malts. Taste comprises lemon rind, citric sherbets, grass, tangy citric pith. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a grounded puckering nip. Okay refresher ... veers towards a sour in some ways as much as a pale, gets the Limoncello message across but wouldn't want much of this.

Hand-pulled pint in the beer garden of the Bridge End Inn, Ruabon on 31st August 2024. Slight haze in the light golden body, white topping. Citrus leaning aroma and taste, didn't really take to it, there was a strange grainy/cereal undertone which took over mid-sip.
