Loch Lomond Brewery
Microbrewery
in Alexandria,
West Dunbartonshire,
Scotland 🏴
Associated Venue: Loch Lomond Brewery Tap
Established in 2011
A desire to brew beer and create a family business that would allow the whole family to get involved we started in 2011 in Alexandria.
Now having brewed a number of award winning beers including CAMRA Champion Beer of Scotland in 2017 and SIBA Supreme Cask Champion of the UK in 2016, we have recently rebranded to include a number of new beers in cask, keg, bottle and can.
Still brewing on our original 10bbl kit our passion has not faded - in fact we are probably more fanatical now about our existing beers and new recipes than ever before.

Golden beer with a light, tangy citrus aroma. Flavour is grapefruit and a light biscuit taste to bring a touch of balance. Unfortunately there’s not much depth to the flavour. It’s nice and it’s got a pleasant dry finish but it’s not especially memorable.

Bottle, thanks to Wingmanwillis, split with J&C at the Cask, 15/04/14 #273/646. Murky orange amber with a big old beige covering. Nose is semi tropical fruit, bitter orange, straw, bready tones, apricot, spice. Taste comprises peach, apricot, very subtle whisky tones, caramel, light spice, reminiscent of a bock in some of its charectaristics. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, strangely warming alcohol in the close considering its only 5.4%. Decent.
