Cask at Cloisters. It pours clear gold with a thick, dense white head. The nose is toasty, citrus, lemon curd, florals and mild biscuit . The taste is crisp, bitter, creamy, citrus peel, soap, floral and grass, with a dry finish. Light-medium body and fine carbonation. Nice to see these guys bust more hops into their beers. Solid cask "session" Ipa.

Cask at The Beehive. Pours clear amber, thin white head. Aromas of toffee and light spice. Taste is more of the same. Slightly sticky finish, but otherwise a solid bitter.

Cask at Cloisters. Pours clear amber, thin white head. Aromas of caramel, almost butterscotch, something green, not necessarily nettles though. They come through a bit on the taste, but not in a sting-y way, just more ’green’. Not much else going on. Pretty dull to be honest.

Has a light golden-brown colour. Fruity (berry), leafy hop aroma. Soft body with light fruitiness and a fresh, clean finish. Yeah I wrote that. But it’s true in this instance.

On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - amber with a decent head. Nose - nice meadow flowers running into lemon pie. Taste - breakfast cereal and lemon. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a balanced and fresh finish. Overall - actually more enjoyable than the constituent parts. Synergy I guess.

Bubbly head, bronze-amber colour. Dark stone fruits and lively pale and amber malts - balance and complexity. Tastes a bit simpler, with a dash if caramel, diacetyl, and not as bright a hop character.

Cask at The Haymarket. Pours clear pale gold, foamy white head. Light citrus fruit aromas, some faint malt. Taste has a nice sour tang that builds over the pint. Good body for the strength. Enjoyable.
