Mein letztes Bier aus einer Kalea-Männerhandtasche von Hofer in einer ziemlich häßlichen Dose, wo wieder die Taucherin in das Bullauge grinst. Geschmacklich ist es wieder eines der weniger schmackhaften Perlenzauber-Bieren. Gebraut wird es von der Billigbrauerei Egerer und unter verschiedenen Namen vertreben. Es ist zwar gut als IPA erkennbar, aber außer bitter ist dieses nicht wirklich gut, wenig Grasigkeit und keine Fruchtigkeit. Ein Mehr an Hopfen(extrakt) ersetzt nicht eine feine Komposition von Hopfen. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Can. Costco Advent 2021 - #15 A- Wheat, slightly floral. A- Gold color, clear liquid, white head. T- Wheat, faint hops. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- More like a wheat ale than anything. Fairly simple in flavor but decent enough.

Fläschla (gebraut in Ochsenfurt): Pale golden, hazy, stable and creamy white head, mild to moderate sweet-bitter aroma of exotic fruity, years and wheat underneath; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied, but smooth; slightly lingering sweet-bitter fruity and yeasty-wheaty finish. Pleasant stuff...

Can shared by Kyle, thanks! Pours a clear gold with a slight orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has bread and earthy grass with a hint of pine underlying. Flavor has grass and hay throughout with a bit of earthy pine in the finish.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of wheat, yeast, banana and flowers. Pours clear golden color with large soapy white head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts light to medium sweet grainy and citrusy, following is bready, yeasty and medicinal, mouthfeel is rather dry, while finish is average bitter. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Decent, but not astonishing…

Bad Santa Christmas Special (Edition 2021), Fläschchen aus dem Kalea Craft Beer Advent Calender 2021. - Dunkles Kastanienrotbraun, klar; dürftiger Schaum. - In der Nase gedämpftes dunkles Malz, feine Frucht (Walderdbeeren), milde Bitterschokolade, dezente Lebkuchengewürze und schwache zitrusfruchtige Hopfung. - Antrunk satt dunkelmalzig mit runden Röstaromen, Milchschokolade, Fruchtgelee (Erdbeere) und leisen Anklängen an Rumtopf. Feine Malzsüße. Milder rezent, vollmundig; gut kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang fein dunkelmalzbitter und leicht beerig aber zu knapp hopfenherb. - Fein dunkelmalziger Weihnachtsbock mit deutlichem Hopfendefizit und ohne bocktypische Wucht. (25.1.2022.)

Can from the advent calendar. Bright citrus nose, crisp malt, light tropical fruit. Clear, bright gold with a tall head. Malty, a bit oxidized, stone fruit, orange, honey. Rather heavy body. Not bad but not fresh enough. Would like to try it on tap.
