Can, from the Costco advent calendar. Pours clear golden yellow with foamy white head, floral/piney aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter citrusy taste, thin smooth body, long lightly citrusy finish. Interesting IPA; not very bitter or piney and very smooth.

Pours clear light copper. It smells of caramel malt and maybe a little hop resin. The flavor is sweet caramel malt and a little mild, resinous, slightly fruity hops. It tastes fairly good with no off flavors, but I don’t know how this is an IPA. I’d expect more hops from an APA, let alone an IPA. Weird. I’d say it’s a well made beer, but it’s not an IPA.

Can at home picked up from Costco. AClear mid golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is sweet breads, flabby leafy hop, sweet and flabby grains. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, jammy pear, fruit lops, esters, bready grains, apple curb. custard. Palate is semi sweet, flabby, spicy hop, moderate carbonation. Meh.

Gold with a fleeting, foamy, white head. Artificial floral aroma, like a cleaning agent or cheap candy. Taste is mildly bitter the whole way through. Finishes with a lingering hint of clove, which is probably the best thing going on here. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation that fades quickly, leaving a limp, golden puddle, watery texture. Lots of problems, but just drinkable, if you’re in a forgiving mood.

Half-litre can from a Costco Advent Calendar; drank at my daughters place in OC Southern California on 15th December 2021. Poured (twice) into an old Corsendonk stemmed tulip glass. Clear and clean golden body, snow white head. It's a strange hybrid between a cheap Pilsener and a crappy IPA that doesn't have a decent hop bill. Struggled to enjoy this, might have been better on a warm sunny day.

500 ml from the Advent calendar. Aroma is floral, lemon rind, caramel, bready malt. Pours nearly clear golden with a one finger bone-white head with decent retention. Taste has a mild bitterness with some candy sweetness alongside. Nothing wrong with the palate. Better than I was expecting.

Can behind day 15 of the Costco Advent Calendar. It pours clear yellow - cold with a small, dissipating fizzy white head. The aroma is sweet, oily, floral character, pine, biscuit, bready malt, grain and hay. The taste is crisp, dry, subdued bitterness, some pine, mellow fruitiness, mostly orchard fruits, dull lemony citrus, floral, grain and straw with a crisp finish. Lighter end of medium body and fine, prickly/sharp carbonation. It's a bit wishy-washy to be honest. Hides the 6% well, but it's utterly forgettable.
