Cask at The Kings Head, The Chiltern Brewery pub Aylesbury, 21-03-08 Chesnut brown in colour with a a thin off white head. Tasted good and quite fruity with a nice tanginess about it. Nice blaance of sweetness and just some bitterness there. Caramel comes through and this isn’t a bad mild at all.

Bottle at home Christmas day 2007 ... Many thanks to Fin for this bottle... Golden amber ... overcarbonated foam head... light fruit hop nose ... again the over cabonation shows ... very lime citrus bit over ripe ... alcohol show a bit much ... quite drying hop ... i realy think this could have done with a few more years to remove the rough edges... a bit disapointing as barley wines go. This is interesting in that the beer gets better after sitting out for 30 mins or so
