bottle. Clear golden colour, mid-sized head. Nice malty nose. Light-bodied, slightly malty, woody hoppy touch. Quite good for an non-alcoholic beer.

bottle. Deep brown colour, beige head. Aroma of carmel and chocolate. Full-bodied, malty base, lots of chocolate, caramel and dark dried fruit. A warming touch of alcohol is present, as well as a touch of pleasantly spicy hops. Smooth palate. Liquid Christmas pudding - a delight.

Screw-cap bottle (excavated by Stefan!): Hazy, chestnut-amber coloured, big stable off-white - beaten egg-white-like - foam; moderate toasty and light chocolatey nose with a subtle fruitiness; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, medium-bodied and smooth; increasing (dryish) traces of cacao and chocolate in the sourish-fruity finish. Good and pleasant.....

Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Pale malt-character with strawy accents and discreetly hoppy notes; rounded malty and moderately hop bitter finish. Decent Export from Bavaria. 23.XI.10

(screw cap bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a collapsing medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet malty aroma with notes of diacetyl and vegetables (onions), accompanied by a tinge of herbal hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light bodied with a calm, if not a bit flat carbonation. Quite dry malty taste, slightly buttery with present hops-character; bitter-sweet and quite dry finish with herbal hops.Not the best Rappen beer. 23.XI.10

(screw cap bottle) Clear, brown colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Sweet toast-malty aroma with caramel, chestnuts, bready notes and shades of herbal hops. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, almost medium bodied with a pleasant carbonation. Hearty toasted malt-character with caramel, bready and nutty notes and a whiff of herbal hops; almost dry hop- and toasty bitter finish. A very pleasant Dunkel. 16.XI.10

Mildly sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Aromatic and hearty cara-malty base with nutty and hoppy notes; medium-dry sweet-bitter and delicately woody hoppy finish.
