Description
Welcome to Healeys! We mix apples and imagination to make delicious food and drink. Deep in the heart of the Cornish countryside, we’re a family-run farm that’s been lovingly making award-winning cyders, wines, spirits, juices, preserves, and sauces for nearly 40 years. Since planting our first trees in 1986, we've grown to become the largest independent cyder-maker in Cornwall and the first distillery for 300 years. Family owned and Cornish born and bred. Whether it’s getting to the core of great flavour or thinking outside the box, we know what it takes to make apples special. And we love welcoming visitors to the farm to discover our Healeys charm themselves.

75cl bottle @ Healeys Cider Farm, Cornwall. Pours deep amber. Rich oaky varnish coated cider with a very subtle whisky influence compared to the Jack Daniels barrel-baged. A very pleasant sipper, but not worthy of the asking price.

Draught @ Stable, Falmouth. Pours clear gold. Sweet, commercial cider aroma. Taste is clean, light and accessible with more than a passing resemblance to Strongbow, although perhaps not as sticky sweet. Harmless enough.

Draught @ The Stable, Newquay. Pours very pale greenish yellow. Clear complexion with light perry aroma. Clean, lightly sweet commercial perry. Extremely light mouthfeel and almost tasting like non-alcoholic fruit juice, lacking in the way of any real character but still rather pleasant to drink.

Keg @ The Ship, Plymouth. Red coloured. Not too stated with its berry flavouring, but it is evident and does feel artificially sweetened to an extent.
