Cask @ Flying Horse Hotel, Rochdale. Clear golden colour. Its pear influence is light but evident enough, but perhaps its lovely smooth texture is the greatest asset here. Is fairly sweet.

Beige collar on a still clear golden coloured body. Apple & earthy aroma. Medium bodied, smooth soft & clean. Apple, sweet & tangy tastes. Hides the ABV very well.

500ml bottle. Clear golden colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of mango, vanilla, apricot. Taste is sweet, mango, apple, fruit salad, with some citric tartness. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, sweet mango finish. OK, very sweet.

Box @ Cromwell's Tap House Sausage & Cider Fest. Pale yellow appearance, very sweet desert apple nose. As expected flavour profile is tooth achingly sweet, clean with an oily palate. Could be pear, could be apple, hard to distinguish past the sweetness. Couldn't manage another sip.

Box @ The Abbey, Shrewsbury. Misty bright yellow. Sweet juicy apple aroma. Just as tooth-achingly sweet as the sparkling, but flat. Very mild natural element coming through but generally quite clean and sweet.

Bottle from Tesco, Brooklands. The last and only previous time I've had this was at a pub in Ivybridge. Played gold the next day and was sick in the rough a couple of holes in. Aroma is sweet, with a sour edge and peel. Hazy-opaque light gold. A few microbubbles skim the surface. Medium sour but underlying sweet but boozy apple then come through. Dry bitter finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Sticky. Soft carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Hmmm. Nit brilliant but certainly drinkable (and there was sweet FA else to drink in that pub).

500ml bottle from House of Trembling Madness. Pale golden colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of juicy apple, fruity, pineapple hint. Taste is sweet, apple, fruity, some tropical pineapple notes and light acidity. Watery mouthfeel, light bodied, medium carbonation, sweet fruity finish. OK.
