Panda 🐼 at home thanks to SHIG. A clear mid golden coloured pour with a halo of loose white head. Aroma is semi sweet,woody apple notes, apple pips, bark, brown sugars. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tangy apple, mellow bourbon notes, wood, some alcohol warmth. Palate is semi sweet, light tang, mellow carbonation.

Flavour is composed of semi sweet, golden apple juice, brown sugars, woody tannin, oak, sherry notes, custard, mellow funk, Palate is semi sweet, medium bodied, fine carbonation. Good complexity.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 05/07/22. Golden to light amber with a moderate just off white cap that dissipates forming a patchwork of bubbles clinging to the edge of the vessel. Nose is apple peel, light caramel, tannins, oak, modest barrel tones. Taste comprises caramelised apple, light tinge of alcohol, sugars, toffee apple, mellow oak. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Solid.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 05/07/22. Clear golden with a white cap that thins to bubbles at the edge of the glass. Nose is tangy apple, oak, tannins, light funk, orchard wood, caramel. Taste comprises bitter sweet apple, oak, toffee apple, light whisky trace, sugars, vinous, apple pulp. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Decent.

Taste is sweet, rich, apple, fruity, tangy, with vanilla, oak, woody hints, and some tannins. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-dry boozy finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle: Poured a coppery golden with no head to maybe a bubble or two. Aroma is boozy, woodsy, apple, pungent. Taste is apples, boozy, woodsy, tannins, tangy, drying finish, little leathery remains.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 14/06/22. Pale golden yellow with a good sized white cap as it goes for ciders ... dissipates after a minute or so. Nose is apple skin, grass, herb, faint elderflower presence. Taste comprises more elderflower, light apple notes, tannins, vinous, sweet. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. It's Ok ... rather on the sweet side ... tend to prefer when the elderflower adds a more bitter edge.
