05-06-17 // bottle from a trade with werckmeister, thanks! Deep black beer with a huge foamy beige brown head. Nose is roasted malts with some coffee. Aroma sweet malty with chocolate and coffee, some caramel. Solid Stout.

Bottle thnx to stefan ! Pours black, ok, light brown head that seems very stable. Smell is oaty, black malts. Taste is very full, creamy, mildly to the sweet side. Oat, some coffee. Intensity in here is where it should be, as is the body and carbo. Very nice, creamy rich imp stout. Not in the same league as the real top-of-the-world examples, but as a local, this sure is a nice one !

Bottle, tasting at Zil Verne.Dark brown color with medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate. Roasted malt, cocoa, coffee, plums in taste. Good one.

Bottle, tasting at Zil Verne. Orange golden color with thick white head. strong smokey aroma with spices, malt. Smoked taste with solid malty backbone, light bitter hops. Very good.

At a tasting, thanks, long lasting creamy head, very deep brown and almost completely opaque, flavor of dark bread, some chocolate and a charred hint, flavor of chocolate and plums with charcoal coming through adding a pleasant mellow bitterness, quite sweet But not too heavy. Very nice and enjoyable.

Bottle from Werckmeister. Pours deep, dark brown with slightly tan head. Smooth, roasty aroma with chocolate, some coffee, soy sauce, dried fruity, molasses. Dark fruit taste with dark chocolate, a bit of burnt caramel and some light roasty bitterness. Smooth and nice!

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks zvikar. Black with a tan head. Aroma of roast, some soy sauce, coffee, dark chocolate. Sweetish flavor with roast, chocolate, a bit of soy sauce, a bit of dark fruits, and a bitter finish. Full-bodied. Very nice.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks zvikar. Hazy yellow. Aroma of grsssy hops, graininess, light vegetal note. Flavor has faint sweetness, a bit of graininess, and nice bitterish grassy hops. Quite light-bodied. Pretty nice.

0,33l from tap at Ottakringer Braukultur Wochen. light yellow body, small white head. smells grassy, light fruity, light grapefruit, some herbs, rosemary. nice smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes grassy, light fruity, light grapefruit, very light sweetness, light herbal. finishes lightly bitter with notes of grassy and done light fruits. very nice one, creamy mouthfeel and great hop notes.
