330 ml bottle from the brewery shop, bb 18.10.2016
Copper, moderate hazy body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, light beige head.
Aroma of caramel, bread, flowers, grass, some hay, some citrus, some biscuit.
Taste follows this, with some more herbs.
Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes smooth, bready, floral, moderate bitter, slightly herbal, with subtle biscuit.
Clean and smooth, with a great balance between a caramelic sweetness and floral hoppy notes. Really quaffable stuff and another quite above average lager style example by this brewery.

Many thanks to Werckmeister for this bottle! Roasted bitter beginning. The beer is intense roasted, not too dry with hints of burned caramel. Smooth with and intense roasted-bitter background, not much hops there. The aftertaste is black burned caramel with hints of brown sugar in a very drinkable combination. Great stuff!

330 ml bottle from Beer Store Vienna.
Copper, clear body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, yellowish head.
Aroma of caramel, honey, dark bread, nuts, dark berries, some spices, slight alcohol.
Taste follows this, with more toasty notes and even some bitter and citric hops.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes roasty, medium bitter, spicy, a bit hoppy, moderate sweet, with some alcohol.
Very nice. Really well integrated honey, just providiing some sweet spiciness. Otherwise quite manifold, with toasty, bready, sweet and also some hoppy notes greatly balanced. Very good, quaffable example of both, Dunkler Bock and honey beer.

Bottle @ home. Hazy red-brown color, full sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, sweetish, caramel. Taste malts, caramel, toffee, brown malts, a slightly bitter hint in the finish. Average to decent body and carbonation. Quite nice.

500 ml bottle from the brewery.
Deep orange, hazy body, with a big, fluffy, moderarely lacing, yellowish head.
Sweet, creamy aroma of banana cake, vanilla, spices, bubblegum, some bread.
Tastes of spices, banana, orange, citrus, bread, some vanilla, some bubblegum.
Medium, creamy mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes spicy, fruity, yeasty, bready, slightly hoppy.
Very nice. The nose is really lovely, taste is more typical for the style, but quaffable and refreshing. Overall I really enjoyed this, among my favourite Weizens from Austria.

0,33l bottle at home shared with Simay, courtesy of Saeglopur, big thanks. BB 04/2017. black color, medium big dark coffee-colored head. smells of roast, ash, some smoke, a bit sourish, coffee, bitter chocolate, some dried fruits, raisins, fruit notes are move obvious after the beer warms up a bit. full body, soft carbonation, slick and creamy mouthfeel. tastes rather sweet, brown sugar, some ash, quite a lot of roast, light smoke, milk chocolate, toffee, also some dried fruits again. finishes with ash and sweetness. rather sweet on the aftertaste. Very lovely beer. Its sweet, but the ash and roast note keep the sweetness quite in check. Just on the aftertaste the sweetness is more obvious. Apart from that very nice beer, not overly complex or too many additives, but I am not a fan of those anyway. Will drink again.
