Bottle. Clear deep golden color with large off-white head. Aroma is caramel, grains, herbal hops, nutty (but not in the oxidized way). Taste is bready, herbal, earthy, cereal, nutty again. Rather light-bodied, with foamy carbonation and a silky mouthfeel. Very nice and tasty one, it has all the nice German Märzen flavours while staying comparably light (after all, this is an Austrian Märzen). Bierschmiede never disappoints!

330 ml bottle from the brewery, bb 31.3.2018
Straw, slightly holden, clear body, with a big, stable, frothy, rocky, lacing, white head.
Aroma of flowers, grass, fresh minty herbs, some citrus, some bread, sweet grains.
Tastes similar, with some more hay.
Light, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes medium bitter, medium dry, floral, grassy, a bit herbal, a bit grainy, a bit hayish, slightly citric.
Really nice. Light bodied, clean and very easy, even for this style, but with lovely, fresh floral notes. This has to be drunk as fresh as possible I guess, as it is so light and the hops seem pretty fragile here.

330 ml bottle, bb 30.12.2017, from Dachboden, Vienna.
Amber, clear body, with a big, stable, fluffy, strongly lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of fresh, minty herbs, flowers, grains, some citrus, some sweet bread.
Tastes similar, with more citrus, some pine, subtle honey.
Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium bitter, a bit dry, floral, fresh herbal, piney, citric, a bit sweet, with subtle honey.
Very nice. Super-crisp throughout, with lovely, fresh herbal notes and just enough malt body. Drinks very easy, while also aromatic, very good balance. Great, characterful style example.

Straw colored, slightly hazy body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of grains, bread, herbs, flowers, some grass, some citrus, honey, some biscuit.
Tastes quite similar, with subtle alcohol.
Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes medium bitter, medium dry, hoppy, grassy, herbal, a bit zesty, subtly sweet.
Really nice. A bit more on the heavy side, while still quaffable and clean. Lots of the typical grainy and herbal notes of the style, with some citric hops and a smooth malt body. Quaffable and characterful Pils.
