On tap at Schiller Bräu, München, Saturday 11th May 2019. Pours hazy light gold with a white head. Soft in the mouth and fine, but you know immediately I'm left thinking that perhaps it's a little sweet and lacking a crisp and refreshing more'ish'ness. This is certainly not bad, just a little flabby, it needs to trim up.

Anklänge an Rhabarber.

Taster at the brewery. Pours a slightly hazy, orange color, with a big, frothy, white head. The aroma is orange peel, unripe bananas, pine sol, and some off phenolics. Sweet, with an almost tart finish. Light to medium body, with a syrupy, acidic mouthfeel. This is a pretty rough hefeweizen.

Taster at the brewery. Pours a clear, bronze color, with a fine, medium, white head. The nose is buckwheat, butterscotch, juniper, rubber bands, and vanilla. Very sweet, with an acrid finish. Light to medium body, with a syrupy, sticky mouthfeel. This is a truly unfortunate beer. Did not finish.
