Tap at the brewery. Dark cloudy brown, creamy tan head. Roast, burned sugar, light melanoidin, herbal and grassy, a hint berry, pleasant roast with a hint smoke in the finish. Medium body, mellow, dry, light sticky sweetness.

Tap. Clear deep golden-amber color with creamy off-white head. Aroma is caramel, fudge, light butter, nutty. Taste is caramel, nutty, fudge, rather sweet, a bit sugary even, buttery. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Tasty, though it feels a bit unattenuated and a bit too sweet.

Sampled @ BKL 2018. A dark brown beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of mild grainy dark malt, liquorice, bread. Taste of mild roasted dark malt, bread, caramel.

Tap at the brewery. Light phenolic aroma, whiskey marmalade, yuzu. Cloudy brown, golden cream. Whiskey burn on the tip of the tongue, after that the whiskey notes integrate nicely with the roast malt. Dry mouthfeel, Kirschwasser, light lactic notes, some salt, mon Cheri finish. Actually fairly moreish.

Tap. Hazy brown color with ruby highlight and a creamy beige head. Aroma is chocolate, wood, vanilla and caramel, definitely a good amount of barrel here. Taste is wood sugar, caramel, vanilla, chocolate, dulce de leche. Velvety mouthfeel with soft, but medium high carbonation. Very good!
